Mission

YWCA Camp is a character building experience that aims to instill values crucial to our campers’ development. We focus on influencing the campers positively, by setting them towards their goals and potential, all while promoting conviction to higher ethics and morals.

The Leaders

We are a diverse group of former campers who volunteer to counsel camps in order to be part of the younger campers’ lives. We believe in everything Y Camp stands for and we look forward to every camp! We are committed to making our summer camps, both, entertaining and beneficial to all our campers.

Our experience varies from older leaders, who have been on this team more than others, to younger leaders, who might have just been campers the year before and are getting more acquainted with the role of a leader. We also vary in interests, studies and background. We believe a diversity in the leader selection, who oversee the planning and organization of the camp activities, makes Y Summer Camp a more enriching experience.
