Once you have locked your spot in the YWCA Camp, you've been waiting and waiting, and it's finally now a couple of days before the summer camp starts. Everybody is excited, rest assured we are now busy finalizing the little preparation details and making sure every activity will be as enjoyable as possible!

You are about to pack now. Bear in mind that for the most part you will be taking part in outdoor sports activities. So bring clothes that will be appropriate for such use, no clothing items you are particularly fond of. Here is a list of items we recommend you should bring:

Clothing items

  • 10 outfits: T-shirts, Shorts, Socks & Underwear
  • A pair of pants
  • A pair of sneakers
  • A pair of slippers
  • Pajamas
  • A towel
  • A cap
  • A light jacket or a hoodie
  • A sleeping bag (optional)

  • Shampoo
  • Soap or shower gel
  • Hairbrush or comb
  • Deodorant
  • Sunscreen
  • Toothbrush & paste
  • Tissue paper
  • Wipes
  • Alcohol spray or sanitizer
  • Vaseline (optional)
  • Lipbalm (optional)
  • Off spray (optional)

It is important to note that in the spirit of simplicity, focus on socialization and having fun, Y Camp does not allow some items, which will either be useless during the camp, or might get in the way of participating in activities together. This is the list of disallowed items:

  • Jewelry/expensive accessories
  • Electronics of any kind (mobiles, laptops, tablets, MP3 players, gaming consoles, etc..)
  • Card games
  • Board games
